Paper View

Someone did something really, really, really special for me recently and I need to gift her. It should be something that goes in her office (she’s an executive) and is classy without being too extravagant.
One word, Suzanne: plastics paper. We may be living in a digital age, but it’s still a material world. When your busy executive friend needs to jot down a phone number, or take notes at a business lunch, or gets stuck in a meeting so boring that she’s just gotta draw a doodle of a monkey wearing roller skates, paper is the way to go.
That’s why I really like this Kate Spade Canvas Note Pad Holder from Kate’s Paperie. It’s classy and simple–and what better than a little pizazz to fight against the office doldrums?

I love this suggestion. Paper seems to be the forgotten stepchild of the digital age. Yet when I sit at my computer and need to jot something down, it’s the one thing I always need – but can never find.
Just as important – a really nice pen.
